hi, i’m gianna!

I am currently a senior studying Graphic Design at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I have minors in Sociology and Psychology and am interested in the intersection between design and humanity.

My passion for creativity started in high school, where I was involved in a performing arts creative writing program. That led me to Newhouse, where I studied Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism for two years before taking an Introduction to Graphic Design class. Making something impactful without words was something new and interesting to me, and soon I realized my heart was pulling me away from writing and towards design. Today, I am fortunate enough to be designing and illustrating graphics and websites for clients. 

Some of my skills include typography, photography, UX/UI design, motion design, and illustration – along with others you can find on my resume. I am well suited for designing across many platforms and media. Following my undergraduate studies, I will be calling Newhouse home for one more year while participating in the Advanced Media Management Masters program.
